I firmly believe that we have a Right to Hunt and Fish. According to the Bible in Genesis 1:26 God gave us dominion over all the animals and fish on earth.
So hunting and fishing is a right. Unfortunately our forefathers did not include that as a recognized “right”. Why? I believe that it was so commonplace to hunt and fish then and everyone pretty well did it that the forefathers really saw no need to recognize hunting and fishing a “right. They did not have the crystal ball to look into the future to see today where hunting and fishing would be attacked on various fronts by animal rights zealots.
The Indiana state legislature is doing what the forefathers did not do – proposing a constitutional amendment for all Hoosiers the Right to Hunt and Fish for the state of Indiana.
The Indiana Senate has put forth a Senate Joint Constitutional Resolution for “The people of Indiana to have a right to hunt, fish, harvest game, or engage in the agricultural or commercial production of meat, fish, or poultry..”
Be assured that anti-hunting forces will be fighting against the Indiana Senate. – A Constitutional Right to Hunt and Fish.
Stand up against those well funded and organized animal rights organizations and CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATOR AND DO IT TODAY!
