They are VERY prolific breeders and can destroy habitat as fast as a bulldozer. It's too bad that they are so destuctive because man are they fun to hunt. ;D They'd be fun in the "off season" times. I'd love to be able to hunt them around here and not have to make the long haul to Texas each spring.

At least that is what they said they were doing. They ended up messing up some farmers field ATV driving through them at night. The hunt them any way we can at any time we want has put a bind on our COs. These guys could have been poaching deer and pass it off as hog hunting.. .

So, Woody- You know of any farmers that would be willing to let a couple of guys come down and hunt them, the non-destructive way?
Dad and I have been looking for somewhere to go for a while now, just can't find any confirmed population on public ground....

Dad and I have been looking for somewhere to go for a while now, just can't find any confirmed population on public ground.... Most of the hogs that we saw in that past came off of leased mine ground in behind our little 40 acre patch. We haven't seen any around for three years. I have heard that there is still some back there, but not to many getting killed anymore. The guys that leased that ground declared war on them and trapped and shot them on sight. They must have kiled 40 or so. If I hear of any I'll let you know. Raporter and Kevin1 was interested too. .
