We may have an unconfirmed case in Perry County near Derby. A woman I work with said her neighbor called her and said that a doe showed up in her back yard with absolutely no fear of humans and was salivating heavily almost foaming at the mouth.

Today North of Terre Haute, my boss and I came across a dead 9 pointer about 140 inches. Had been dead several weeks and was found in a creekbed. Smelled another further down the same creek.

Where in Putnam Co does he hunt? I have yet to hear of any here around me- 4 (that I know of) ponds and a couple miles of creek within a mile of me...
We ran into a guy at the lumberyard last Thursday (10/26) that had a rack off of a buck from Hillsboro. He said they found it in their pond, and had drug it out 6 days prior to that. No idea how long it had been dead beforehand though...

danf i'm not exactly sure but I think the closest town is putnamville, all of the deer they found dead were by the creek that runs through the property. The most recent dead was found last sat.

We have found 2 dead bucks on our property in Montgomery County. Found one end of Sept, the other early October. One was in the creek and the other within 100' of it. Neighbor has found a dead button buck on the same creek a quarter mile up.

Where at in Montgomery County?
Guy at work had a nice 8 pointer skull and antlers today that was obviously from this year (after the middle of September), said he found it in a drainage ditch.
