Everyone keeps saying that they'll get what they deserve in prison. It doesn't work like that. That's just something we've heard in movies and like to believe because we want them to receive some kind of justice.

Unfortunately I think my reaction would have to be the same as everyone else here. That doesn't make such an action right, but I would probably put a bullet in his brain pan.

That's just something we've heard in movies and like to believe because we want them to receive some kind of justice. I worked as a CO in a the toughest prison in TN... The same one they took James Earl ray too... I can tell you that often they don't get everything they deserve in prison... because as soon as inmates find out that they are in for hurting a child (and yes almost every inmate will retaliate for that child... because even among the scum of the Earth there is a code.. and some things are sacred).. anyway as soon as they find out that someone is in for child molestation... they will either kill or physically torment them... that is until the perv... asked to be put in protective custody... where no one can get to him... then he just sits on his butt watching tv and eating zoom zoom and wam wams until he gets so fat or so sick that he has to go to a special needs place... where life is roses... and all the inmates are treated better than the officers...

An accurate analysis of the situation, assuming they grant the perv his wish to be put in protective custody.

yup, two things I wouldnt want to be in prison,,,a child molester, or a rogue cop that got caught. Both would have a hard time surviving, and the CO's wont lift a finger to help either...as it should be!!!!

I have not worked for Indiana's DOC.... but in TN if an inmate asked for PC then we had to give it to them...

I'm afraid a long slow death may have traumatized the little girl, seeing her daddy fight and kill someone would not have been good, quick and clean would have worked well though, and I wouldn't bat an eye doing it in defense of my family........why?..... Well for one, there is no rehabilitation for a child molester, once they do it, they just keep doing it, my grandfather was a molester, I had heard stories but it wasn't till his funeral that we grandkids got together, without our parents in the room, and discovered that 26 out of the 28 of us had been molested and some for a period of years by him, and also that 3 of the grandkids were his own children..... and even though the authorities had been told., they never did a thing.....and then 4 1/2 years ago at a funeral for a friend I was approached by a fellow that I did not know, but he knew my hotrod, which I drove and also where we lived, he commenced telling me that my next door neighbr was a twice convicted child molester... well I told the complex manager, who was also a dear friend, she had some legal connections and verified this, and then told me the police would take care of it since they were looking for him, well 2 months later nothing had been done, I had an 8 year old daughter and was worried to say the least, well I got this fella over and invited him in we sat and talked, brought up my grandfather, gained his confidence, and let him do some talking on his own, people like this like to relive and brag about their conquests when in the right company, well I let him think that, all the while everything was being recorded, as he told me how he molested an 18 month old girl... and no one knew he had done this.....I turned this recording over to child protection, they called me in and interviewed me as we listened to the tape, they said it would be taken care of as he was already a wanted man...... then they went and talked with him the next day... and then they left.. without him... later that day he was long gone.. took the heck off.. and he is still out there somewhere... and still molesting is my bet............ listening to that pos was one of the hardest things I've ever done, and if a gun was available, I had none at the time, I would have had a real hard time not using it, and later that year somone tried to take my daughter by force from a bus stop at 2:30 in the afternoon, and again the authorities did nothing... was it the same man? who knows... but he is still out there..... somewhere......,meanwhile we moved to the country. Well, since this sicko from kokomo didn't get what he deserves, I only hope that the authorities do the right thing.... toss him in prison and turn their backs, a slow painfull death in prison would be a good thing for all of us................................Steve

makes me sick just reading about it, looking behind me at my daughter asleep on the couch ...
"Hello? 911? Yeah, send a coroner out to 7705..."
