I've got a Polaris and a Honda we have rode hard and put up wet and even abused many many times with no major issues. It really doesn't matter what you choose because they all have good points and bad points, sorta like the Chevy/Ford/Dodge argument. The main thing is find something you are comfortable with, fits your size, riding style and most of all it's in your budget. I think if I was going to buy one today I would look really hard at the side by sides. If you want or plan for your wife or someone else to tag along it sure beats them hanging on the back. Good Luck!
PS I've always heard red is faster ....

I love the ergonomics along with all of the storage & hauling space on my Sportsman when doing the back to back all-day rides in the rugged hills & hollers of SE Kentucky.

I just bought a pair of Suzuki 400cc 4wd quads to keep at the cabin. Nice outfits, sold for about $4800 new.
We have a +/- 10 year old Honda 250 2wd here at home that has been extremely reliable. Only thing I've ever done to it is replace the battery once and change the oil about 3 times.

hard to beat a Honda, Suzuki or Yamahammer. I just can't find a new Honda I like these days, that's why I bought a Suzuki Vinson..Honda is great quality but their 4-wheelers look too sporty and not enough utility...If they'd make a good utility quad and a decent camo pattern, besides that natra-gear crap they'd sell more quads to hunters...I was dead set on a Honda when I boguht mine, too bad they don't make a nice looking Utility.
