Have you tried looking on www.fws.gov/midwest/BigOaks/deer.htm for information? Scroll down to the bottom and it gives previous years' statistics for each area. Other than that, I don't have much to offer. Good luck!

Area 3 is fairly rough on the South and West sides. Deep gullies and sharp ridges. the East and North sides are flat to gently rolling. coming in from the North side is an old road bed that cuts through the area towards the Southeast corner. have seen quite a bit of sign coming out of area 2 into 3 on the West side also about halfway to the North fence. Also a good spot is to start where 3 and 4 meet on the East side and work your way Northwest back into the the area. some really nice oak flats and ridges in this area. Area 3 is huge, so if you don't score right away do some stillhunting/scouting for day 2. Good Luck

Just got back from area 3 yesterday. We both scored, I got a doe and my buddy a 9-pt. saw lots of young deer. They maxed out with the 14 hunters for the area... so had to keep track of where everybody was. Deer were in the bottoms and on top. It seemed that the best strategy was to find a good spot with visibility and stay put and let all the hunters push the deer around until you get a shot. We got ours in the afternoon when people were moving around.
