::All namecalling aside-if there is no problem with all of the farm raised cervids then maybe one of the wiser folks can answer why the BOAH is adding the new regulations?.....I'm sure it is the fanatical fringe that caused the steps to be taken

Guys,
I think this is a very important subject and we REALLY don't want to shut the thread down BUT we will if you all don't clean up the personal stuff.
Stick to the subject and leave the personal stuff out of it, OK?
Thanks..

Yup one outbreak and it's spreading-all because somebody has to try and think "wildlife and $$" outside the box... Your first post shows you're not too concerned with facts and reality so long as you can get your emotion-driven prods in. The animals in game breeding facilities are not wildlife anymore than sheep, goats, chickens or cattle. From drawn semen to invetro eggs to bottle babies to stalls and pens, the word "Wild" is just more emotional propoganda. Now that you appear to be concerned with the facts: nobody said there is NO problem: that's just more of your tag-a-long spin. There has been one confirmed case of TB in captive cervids in Indiana. There have been other Indiana TB cases found in cattle, there have been TB cases found in numerous animals in numerous states over the years. More testing is underway in Indiana and elsewhere. The voluntary concessions, compromises and suggestions made by the "Evil Game Breeders" have probably done more to improve this situation than anything the "monkey's" have done with their combined lives of whining online.

Woody, sorry, I fell asleep somewhere between hitting the reply button and hitting "POST REPLY"! LOL! I'll stop offering resistance to the feeding frenzy, that way nothing needs to be locked or deleted. They seem to play better when no one challenges their back-slapping.

Woody, sorry, I fell asleep somewhere quote] Now there is an honest statement.................. BTW>> I have never engaged in personal attacks on this thread. No name calling at all. Just my thoughts about the overall industry in general....... This sophomoric, emotionally driven, uneducated FOOL monkey will stand on what I have said. ( I keep peanuts taped to my keyboard to help me out.) TB is turning out to be a mess and it's not this orangutan's fault that it it was found on a cervid farm and a killing pen! BTW>> any discount on hunts at the Bluffs this year?

I come from a farm background-have shoved/led a few animals around a show pen, been right in there during chicken sexing and cleaned out a lot of different types of animal poop so don't assume that I don't anything. I got off on the wrong foot with one of these "cervid farmer" types a few years ago when they were trying to blame the "mad cow" disease on "treehuggers" and the "federal government"......talk about a fanatical "winger"! As I was reading your post with the "monkey" label all I could think was the shoe could easily fit on either foot depending on which side of the fence you were on.
