Timex has graciously extended an invitation to Hunting Indiana members for a Youth Hunt.
The hunt will be for 6 to 7 youths. Youths are designated this year as anyone under the age of 18.
Timex has a trailer that will sleep 10 (maybe more on cots). The trailer is on Cathenette Rd. off of 6th street out of Vincennes. I’ll pull Woodmaster’s small trailer up there the week before. It will sleep 4.
There are 12 or so ladder stands up. We can set up a stand on the side for an adult for them if needed. Probably have out 3 or 4 ground blinds for hunters that would rather hunt on the ground. A father youth team could also put up their own stands or blinds.
This will be semi-guided by Timex, his son and myself.
This is Timex’s Vincennes club, it's 6 miles south of Vincennes along the Wabash R. It's by the bridge into Saint Francisville, Ill.
The club is 3000 acres, but a lot of it is crops which makes for better hunting. Timex promises “we kill some deer.”
We arrive at camp on September 25th. Supper will be provided. The actual hunt is September 26th and 27th.
If anyone wants, they can fish on the property or in the Wabash.
ATV's are ok, but NO joy riding.
Food – We will have some wild game in the form of fish, venison and wild boar. We will supplement that with burgers, hot dogs, beans, chili, soup, soft drinks, sweet tea, etc. Breakfasts will probably be sweet rolls, cereal, juice and coffee. IOW – deer camp food.
All you will need is your sleeping bags or sheets/blankets, the youth’s chosen hunting weapon, and hunter orange for both the youth and dad.
Please sign up here … If we have more that 7 youths sign up we will hold a drawing.
Also PM me your full name, address, phone number and the name of your youth hunter.
The club property is located here…..
Youth Deer Season Rules

The youth hunter must comply with all deer hunting regulations, including tagging the deer and checking it in to a deer check station within 48 hours of the take.
The youth hunter and accompanying adult must wear hunter orange.
The youth hunter may use a legal firearm, bow and arrow, or crossbow, to take the deer, but may possess only one type of equipment to take a deer while in the field.
The accompanying adult cannot take a deer and may not possess a firearm, muzzleloader, bow and arrow or crossbow while in the field with the youth hunter.
