Yeah. It's an urban hunt, and the idea is to shoot any deer, so if he shows up zap him!

Your Hunt, your decision. Long as it is legal nobody has a say anything about it. As others have said the reason for Urban Hunt is to get rid of the Deer. Good Luck and enjoy.

Probably the warm weather. I'm like that too. I think that frost activates the hunting gene. parson

I won`t be hitting my urban spots until saturday, 1 is right behind my house on my property, got a couple of does and nice buck coming in right around daylight and eating the apples on the ground under my apple trees. Been watching them for a couple of years and just haven`t brought myself to bother them.

Went out today was a great day! Started seeing deer at daylight just didn't work into shooting range. About an hour later seen 3 does they worked within 30 yards but to many leaves to get a clear shot. heard a noise to my right and seen a 1 1/2 old buck he was walking straight for me feeding on acorns. I let the buck enter into my shooting lane and laid him down for a dirt nap!! Going back out in the morning hope to see movement like I did today. Good luck to everyone!!!

so can you shoot a buck during urban, then one more during the other "regular" seasons?

Well went back out today. Was a little cooler today, had high hopes on seeing good movement. Sunrise can and went without seeing a deer but there was no lack of tree rats. Every time I heard something anticipation grew to see only a squrriel looking for nuts. About 8:30 heard some sticks break of course by now I'm expecting to see a squrriel so I don't bother to get ready and lo and behold a doe and 2 yearlings had made their way in to feed on the acorn's. So now I'm scrambling to get into position to get a shot. Mama was already down wind and on high alert to my presence. this time the folige worked in my favor as she sniffed the air to pin point my locatin, I was able to come to full draw as she dissapeared behind a lage white oak. When she cleared the tree I relaesed the arrow and it sent her scurring for safety but she would not find such a place. She piled up 30 yds from my tree and it ended up being a great day!! Here is a pic from the morning hunt.
