You are welcome. Woodmaster prints his out on bumper sticker paper. When he kills a deer he just removes the backing, wraps it around the leg or antler and it sticks to itself. Tough stuff and is hard to tear.

I print mine off and then fill it all in. I include DOB and write down counties I hunt in then I just have to circle them and put a line for time. Then I make copies. I keep them in a zip loc with a pen and zip ties that I attach them to the leg with.

Bumpersticker paper? That's a sweet idea.
Hey I have a question: Are this years fall turkey transport tags metal just like the deer tags? Check station by my house was told they are all the same tags now. They were always stickers before..at least for spring birds.

You're right about stickers in the spring but in the fall they go to metal. Good luck, BOBinIN

I make mine out in advance with all the required info and places to notch. I then laminate them and use a hole punch to put a hole in one end.
Then on the back I use scotch tape and secure a zip tie there.
I got so many compliments the check-in.
It's amazing what some people pull off their truck floor or out the trash to make a tag.

I carry one or more mostly "filled out" temporary tags in my wallet along with a ball point pen in my shirt pocket. I use business cards (blanks or backs of existing ones). Also, for added convenience I carry at least one medium-sized safety pin (one inside all my hunting caps and usually one inside the flap on my hunting shirt pocket. Like the commercial says, "Never leave home without it." A safety-pinned tag to the deer's ear or the turkey's neck/wattle seems to work fine. It is easy to put on, generally out of the way when transporting, yet easy to take off when at the check station.
Safety pins are good for more than diapers!

I just use shipping tags, the ones that have the string on them. Fill them out ahead of time and keep a supply in my wallet.

3x5 lined card, one hole punch, sticky washer, length of nylon construction string, got enough to last a lifetime.

Crazy that a temp tag is not printed out with your license that you buy on line.
