"dont want the DNR to add more and more laws and regulations to the already changin statutes that are in place now,"
I think the idea is to get rid of some antiquated laws, not make more of them. Just like was done to allow having an arrow on your bow or a cap on your muzzleloader while sitting in your stand before legal shooting time. Several laws need cleaned up so everyone can understand them.

let me start by saying i live in ky where it is legal to bait. me and timex have had our best season to date and not one of the deer where baited. some of our hunters had trail cams on property that we have and didnt harvest a deer. they did catch pics of the big 8 point i took and a few other bucks that were never seen again. i dont have a problem with either but bait will bring deer to you and trail cams wont. trail cams will locate big bucks if they walk by and bait piles will keep big bucks away more times than bring them in. anyone can put out bait and harvest a deer its that easy not all people really know how to scout so why not let them use cams to help see whats going on. what im saying is baiting is not hunting but if you get a pic of a big buck on your cam you will hunt for him the rest of the season.

Example: You have a feeder in one woods and a camera in a different woods, you notice that you are going through alot of feed in your feeder, but you are also gettin info from your camera showing deer coming through that area during legal shooting hours.......Which area gives you the biggest advantage to kill a deer?
A whitetail has 24 hours to feed, i unfortantely don't have 24 legal hours to hunt.
As most of us know, whitetail are extremely habit forming animals especially before and after the rut. Cameras tell a hunter not only what deer are coming through a certain area, but also what time of the day. If the pics are mostly at night, it probably not worth hunting during daylight. How many times have you hunted an area with awesome sign, just to come to the conclusion, after several wasted hunts, that the deer must be using that area at night? I know i have several times.
Generally, in my experience with cams, i can literally tell you when the deer are going to be there and at what time. Granted in my experience, cams doesn't give much help at all during the rut, but then again nothing does, besides luck.
Feeders do bring deer to one certain area, but you have no control on when they feed.
The proper use of Camera's, gives the hunter way more of an advantage in the field than a single feeder, imo..

At the same time those deer were already moving through there if you are puting your cams on trails. You are just seeing what kind of deer are there. These two are comparing apples to oranges. I really do not understand your reasoning but thats fine we all have our own point of views.
