For a non-resident, Kentucky charges and requires a General Hunting License @ $115.00. Deer Permit is $50 (for two Deer). Bonus Deer Permit (where permitted) is $12.50 for two "Antlerless" Deer. These are good the whole Deer Season in KY.
For a non-resident wishing to hunt Deer in Indiana: a General Deer Tag, for One Antlered Deer, will cost $120.75. If one wishes to take a "Bonus" Antlerless Deer, then it will cost the non-resident another $120.75 for each Bonus tag. Same applies for a Muzzleloading Deer Tag.
For Kentucky: It costs $177.50 for 1-antlered Deer and 3-antlerless Deer.
For Indiana: It cost $120.75 for EACH Deer, so 4-Deer with one being a Buck will cost a non-resident $483.00
My question is: Why are so many Indiana residents complaining about the cost of non-resident license in the state of Indiana?I live in the S.E. part of Indiana..Dearborn county and if the deer license are made any cheaper this area will be run over with hunters from Ohio..mainly the Hamilton county area..that is what I don't like about lowering the cost of deer license...Personally I like it the way it is!!
