What was the largest Buck you have ever seen ?
Where did you see it ?
What do you think it would have scored ?
I once saw a 12 pointer on the south end of Jefferson Proving Ground in southeast Indiana. He probably had a 22 inch or more inside spread, and very long tines, and main beams. He would have probably scored over 170 inches.
I also saw a Buck in west KY in a field along the western Kentucky Parkway. He was still in velvet, but he looked like he would have scored over 180 inches, he had 12 main points, and several small sticker points.
What is the largest Buck you have ever seen, and where did you see it ?

200" or so. Robert Skinner and myself got it on video in the Gallatin Bottoms, on my lease there. You can see it on Hunt Club Services website. Think he has it on UTube also.

saw a typical that would score close to 190 or so this year, maybe bigger on another one of timexs leases after shooting hours crossing the road. 25 inches wide or so. almost let the truck hit him like he didnt have a care in the world. had a miss fire on a booner buck last season which is the biggest i have ever seen while on stand.

Recently, 12 point 180+, I believe fullrut has also seen.
10 years or so ago I got within 5 corn rows of a 12 point the was wide enough to break the corn stalks off of both rows he was running between. No idea on score, but incredibly wide since the farmer used an old 30" planter.
Both deer were on farms about 12 miles apart in the heart of farm country filled with plenty of nasty thick logged wood lots and creek bottoms.

For sure I have seen a 16 pt -194 2/8 inch Downing buck killed here in Howard county about 10 or 12 years ago .We were headed to a football game that I was to coach at . I saw the buck standing in a bean field feeding on a Sat afternoon about 2 pm early Oct . I called Mike and told him the when and where . He killed from a fence row at almost 50 yards the next afternoon same time same place . It was jaw bone aged by the area DNR biologist at 3.5 years old and weighed in at 172 # FD . We had seen it on several occasions over the earlier fall and winter and had scouted him back to a bedding and staying in a 5 acre drainage next to this field the last winter and pre season as well. The second for sure is my 171 4/8 10pt 238 # FD 5.5 years old also aged and officially weighed in killed 14 years ago. Both pre OBR and pre heavy Doe harvest in our area.
Also I have seen what i suspect that were a few nontyps that were between 190 to low 220s on the hoof but hate to call them like that due to distance and ground shrikage factors .Also numerous 140 up to 180s types on the hoof over the years . Clint VanNanters buck was 169 in and change and FD 248 # and was 5.5 years old killed here a few years ago saw it on the Back in his truck and my hands as well. I also held the Sears buck killed in Fulton co. Bob Sears the hunters father brought the buck by to let my partner and I see it . Its an all time Nontyp in BC and its called the Medusa Buck .It is on display at Bass pro . <---- Killed like 30 years ago not sure have to look at book for score and date

180"+/- 12-14 pointer during archery season at Atterbury back in the mid 90's on the militay side. He was about 60 yards out in a Sassafras sapling/Multi-Flora Rose thicket when I heard a twig snap saw a stationary big head, nose, & an eye. Don't laugh but I thought someone's mule had gotten loose until he moved his head & I saw antler movement. It looked like he had 2 young trees growing out of his head.

So esshup do you need anyone to hunt with? If you do, then I'm your guy! Biggest I've seen is a 170+ Class 12 Pointer in Illinois. The land joined up with Lake Shelbyville. It was private, and since anyone can hunt around the lake.... it was a like a sanctuary for deer. I'm not real good at scoring deer, but he was huge. May have been bigger than 170, I'm not real sure.

I have no idea what happened to that property from last year to this year. Last year I saw 12 different bucks, at least 8 were very nice deer, plus maybe 18 does. This year 8 does, one 8 point and 2 forkhorns. 80 acres..... Roughly same # of days afield, same # of trail cameras.

This is the biggest set of antlers I have ever seen on a deer. 24.5" inside spread. The deer was 192# dressed. A buddy killed it, not me. It's the hunters brother posing for this pic) Another buddy (the 1st guys brother) killed what I believe to be this ones twin sibling in the same spot the following year. He was 235# dressed. And the same guy killed this one with a bow a year after that. This one was 199# dressed. But... ya'll know there are not any good bucks on public land... and you definitely can't kill them on the ground... Jabba

There are still some giants in Camp Atterbury. I hunt there every year on the VIP Hunt. I used to Bow and Gun hunt there a lot also. I also have seen some giants on the base. Back in the early 1990's, there was a 16 Pointer, that was huge, that would come out every evening and feed in the Impact area, we could sit in area 1, and look across the road into the impact area and see the Buck, I guess he just died of old age. And there was a big 12 pointer, and a big 14 Pointer back around 2004, that we were Bow hunting in area 3. Me and several others seen these Bucks by the Grenade Range, both Bucks probably would have been in the 165 to 175 inch size range. I would think, that back in the 8,000 acre restricted Impact area, there are probably several Bucks over 180 inches. Most just die of old age. 180"+/- 12-14 pointer during archery season at Atterbury back in the mid 90's on the militay side. He was about 60 yards out in a Sassafras sapling/Multi-Flora Rose thicket when I heard a twig snap saw a stationary big head, nose, & an eye.
