I plan to .... but it depends.
I want to kill one more doe so Ill be out for the late season unless I kill one this weekend. I do believe I will be extra careful this late in the year and try to look "her" over really well before pulling the trigger.

I'm not. My county is at 8 antlerless[which I personally think is too high]. I've not talked to anybody that intends to hunt that season, and I greatly think it will depend on the weather.

I'm planning on it, but I'm trying for one specific doe. I'm going after the big piebald I posted pictures of earlier this year. If she doesn't show I might try to take another, but it'll get a good look over first. Don't want to kill a button or a shed Buck. Wanting one more for jerky and some summer sausage.

Yes.
Why is it wierd that some people can tell you how old a buck is by looking at his body, but take his antlers off and they are afraid he will be mistaken for a doe?

Can't help it, i'm an addict, i'll probably be out there. Guess i'm a glutton for punishment. So long as it's in season and legal, I'll be out trying to fill my tags. It's already been said by others here but I just simply enjoy being out there in the woods even if I do come home empty handed. The challenge/thrill of the hunt itself is 80% of why I'm a hunter.

Yes, normally waterfowl hunt while off during Christmas but the screwed us over with new central zone and it is not season this year during the break so I will for sure hunt deer and maybe some rabbits.

I still haven't put a tag on one yet so the freezer is looking a little bare.

Have 2 in the freezer from first Archery season. Didn't gun hunt, and expected to get a Cow Elk during the Colorado hunt. Didn't get one there, so I gotta put one or 2 more in the freezer. I don't buy beef with the exception of the occasional Fast Food Hamburger. I have 40# of boned out meat being made into deer sticks, and 4 hindquarters being smoked into hams.

I got suckered into the bundle licence so I'm going to use it even if it is only to sit in the woods with my gun in my lap. The deer have turned nocturnal & it will take a snow or single digit temps to turn them around. There has been way too much hunting pressure on the to few deer in S.W.In. this year.
