I just bought 2 16' ladder stands at Menards in Avon. They are normally $88 but on sale for $65. I then used a coupon for $5 off an order of $50 or more. You cannot beat a $60 tree stand. Here is a picture of the label. Here is the coupon. Mike

I use an iPhone app called Snip Snap. That is where it came from. The cashier didn't bat an eye at it. I use that app all the time. It is great.

Just show them the screen. Well you need to click on redeem, then sometimes it will give you a barcode for them to scan. Like this. I have never been a coupon guy but now I find myself looking at this app all the time. ;-)

One can't argue the price, but I just might be able to beat it. The $60 I spent this week at the local archery shop netted me 4 chain-on Hunter's View stands. They are heavy and old school (came with simple loop safety straps) but they are useful and ease the theft concern a little. Besides, we use simple loops for deer drags, and I can always use extra deer drags.

The image will be saved to your camera roll. Nice find firstwd. The heavier the better as far as thieves go.

I've been threatening to put up a ladder stand at the back; might just have to break down and do it.

Just an update: I went into Menards to pick up one of these stands and to my amazement, they are no discounted even more! Instead of $108, they are $98 and then they accepted the $5 off coupon previously mentioned in this thread. So, the grand total is $93 for a 2 person ladder stand! The Carmel Menards had 7 of them left on the store shelf.

I really like the double ladder stands as one can have all his/her gear right next to him/her and can really stretch out and relax

I just got back from our Rural King. The stand was 99.99 but there was no 12% discount on that one. The one they had the 12% on was priced at 269.99 and it was a beast of a stand. May still go back and get one since my son is going to start deer hunting this year.

I haven't put it in yet, but the gal marked my rebate number with a highlighter.
