When i buy a Federal waterfowl stamp for my Indiana hunting license would i have to buy another Federal waterfowl stamp if i purchase a Illinois hunting license ? I know i will need to buy 2 different waterfowl state stamps . And i do carry both state hunting license on me at all times .

You only need to purchase one federal waterfowl stamp and it is good for all states. It is also required to be affixed to a license and signed on the face in ink. If you had it affixed to your Illinois license and hunting in Illinois, that is the only license you need. However if you were hunting in Indiana, you would need your Indiana license as well as the Illinois license which has the stamp affixed to it because you would have to produce the stamp upon request.
