The 2015 Indiana Predator Challenge will be held February 6th, 7th & 8th. Registration for this 11th Annual IPC will open next week on July 15th. Registration paperwork will be available on our website, www.indianapredatorchallenge.com There are a limited number of spots available for this hunt and they usually book up very fast, we're usually closing down registration in early August. Last year it was July 28th. If you'd like to learn more about this 3 day predator calling event please check out our website. All of the commonly asked questions are answered there and you'll also find recaps and photo's of the event dating back to 2004. Grab a few hunting partners and get yourself registered for this one-of-a-kind event. We'll also be hosting a "Summer Shindig" on July 19th where hunters and organizers will spend the day enjoying BBQ, Sporting Clays and a 3-alarm campfire after sunset. This event is a great opportunity for newcomers to meet the folks involved and take a look at the terrain we'll be hunting in February. Everyone is welcome to attend this Summer Shindig with their family and friends, February's hunt is exclusive to registered participants. Thanks Woody. Last year I had next-day-air packages come in July 16th from 400-600 miles away containing registration forms for brand new teams that had been blocked out the past 2-3 years. Of course that meant a couple teams that HAD made the cut in previous years, weren't going to!
We realize the July registration is inconvenient for a February hunt but it's beyond our control. There are a lot of factors involved in organizing a fun, safe, fair & legitimate event like this... I totally understand why there isn't another hunt like it in the country. I've helped organize, participated in, or otherwise attended dozens of events from coast to coast and I've never seen a fair & balanced hunt like the IPC. If you make the cut you'll enjoy some great hunting, rifle contest, meals and come away with some new friends. If you don't make the cut, MARK YOUR CALANDERS and catch us next time!
Unfortunately we have to turn away 150-200 hunters every year to retain the quality of this event. Our hunters have access to some BEAUTIFUL calling country and they aren't trampling over top each other because we limit the entries. Last year, over the 3 day hunt, we only had 2 teams run into one another at a parking area... one was dragging a coyote out and the other walked the opposite direction from the truck and missed a fox 10 minutes later. There are plenty of critters and more than enough room for the guys we bring in.
PS: My apologies to those that sent me private messages through this site over the last five months. I visit the site from my phone but apparently I'm either not logged in or it doesn't show me the PM notification. Those with questions about predator calling are encouraged to visit us at the Shindig on July 19th. You can RSVP to indianapredator@yahoo.com and we'll send you directions. I'll begin heading west next month and will be off the grid at least 23 days between now and October 15th, then coyote season opens here in Indiana and I'm REALLY hard to find. Come visit us on the 19th!

We've got room for a few more teams in the 2015 Indiana Predator Challenge.
If you've got a couple predator calling friends and would like to join us for a fun 3-day weekend in February, check out the website today. As long as the registration forms are available there for printing, we're open to taking new teams.
We have a few new teams on board already this year, a few father-son teams, and a couple women signed up. This is a family friendly, fair & safe, level playing field that everyone can enjoy regardless of experience or age.
Thanks;

Even though I don't participate I enjoy reading and viewing the photos that are posted here. GOOD LUCK. Me too. I tried to go to that web sites community forums but the link didn't work for me. I missed the sign up I guess as I didn't think to sign up as I don't travel that much in the winter time due to two wheel drive truck that I don't trust very much. It's old and damage and has over 220,000 miles on it. And I found out that the right rear axle is bent from the last accident that I had. A girl ran a four way stop sign and creamed me in the back end as I was turning left. She hit me after I was almost though the intersection. Never can figure out why she decided to run right into me. It was not as though she could not see me. I had a friend follow me the last time I was taking the truck into the repair shop and they told me that might right wheel was wobbling unnaturally. I thought it was my tire at first so I took the truck back to the tire dealership. They removed the tire and the wheel was still wobbling so it was not the tire. It was the axle. I never notice any wobble or anything so it's not that bad I guess. I'll know if the wheel falls off when I'm going down the interstate at 70 mph. So I try to keep my speed down on the highways these days.
There is a strange bug in this forum. My keyboards "spacebar" doesn't seem to advance the text when I'm typing in here. I hit the spacebar and the cursor does not advance like it should. It just sits in the same spot the entire time. But if I press the "enter" key and then the "Backspace" key the cursor goes to where it should have been when I pressed the "spacebar" key? Strange bug in this software. Which is why sometimes there is only one space between the "periods" and the start of the next sentence. I can press the "spacebar" key five or six or more times and the blinking cursor will not advance at that time. If I press the enter key and advance to the next line and then hit the backspace key the blinking curer goes to where it should have been after I pressed the spacebar key five or six times. This is really bugging me.
