lol .... the poll itself is funny to me.
Must be hard on some Christians knowing that Obama, the man they hate so much, is Christian just like they are.

"Hate"?
Where do you get that Christians "hate" Obama?
While us Christians may "hate" some things Obama is doing I've never seen any Christian anywhere say that they "hate" the man himself.

The second a Christian hates anyone, they have broken the Greatest Commandment as stated by Christ himself. Hate and Christian is the ultimate oxymoron.
However... There are some who do spout hate in the name of Christianity. It is a HUGE problem and we fight the repercussions every day.

"some" Christians .... dont leave out important words.
And yes, I have seen Christians say they hate him. Maybe you should get out more .... kind of like when Obama said he had never seen someone who would rather game the system than go back to work. He should have gotten out more.

I think what Woody probably means is that if someone hates others, they aren't Christians whether they claim to be or not. But that's not the way the non-Christian world sees it.
They see the likes of the Westboro Baptist bunch and think that a lot of Christians are like that. They don't understand that those are NOT Christians.

I would say the Christians who call another Christian a Muslim, just because they do not like the man or his politics, are not Christians. If we are really going to weed out the members by their own actions the club is going to shrink considerably. May not be any members left at all.

Take it up with the men and women who say it Woody ..... maybe they are just a different degree of Christian. Or dont take it as seriously.
I have no clue.

If I heard a "Christian" say that I would take it up with them. There are no different degrees of being a Christian. Either you are or you aren't.

club kləb/ noun noun: club; plural noun: clubs
1. an association or organization dedicated to a particular interest or activity.
Seems to fit about as well as any other term .....

There are absolutely no varying degrees. The scripture is very clear about that.
It's also clear that the second part of your post is accurate.

Would a Christian, who claims another is not a Christian without proof, still be considered a Christian?
Serious question. Just trying to get a hold on what, other than hate, is enough to not be one any longer.

Club does sound condescending and derogatory when applied to Christianity.
