We just got back Monday morning from Alaska. What a wild, beautiful, wonderful place. We fished for mainly halibut, rock fish, and a few salmon. The weather was wonderful, very light winds and mild temperatures. The five of us ended up bringing back about 100# of fillets. We had a couple of huge halibut on but they all lived to fight another day. The biggest ones we caught on our boat were in the 40 pound class, the other boat landed one 122#. Watched whales, bald eagles, killer whales, porpoise, and sea otters daily. We fished for 5 days: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday

Never get tired of fishing but we all slept really good every night. As far as bringing any home. We each shipped home 100 pounds of fillets as extra baggage, mostly halibut.
