The Big Walnut Creek in Reelsville, In changed it's path and busted through into an old rock quarry and exits back into the creek at the other end. The owner of the quarry doesn't let people float through it and threatens with calling a C.O. and giving a ticket. My question is, can we legally float kayaks and canoes through it if we do not get out of the kayaks. It is the only way to get back to the creek.

yes. Since the creek now flows through the pit and the Big Walnut is classified as a navigable stream, you may utilize the surface of the water for recreational purposes, as long as you legally accessed the creek. However, you cannot be on the property itself (land) without the permission of the landowner.
