Wilbur Wright Fish & Wildlife Area Learn how to use traditional archery equipment for bow hunting at a free workshop on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Wilbur Wright Fish & Wildlife Area in Henry County. The workshop runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Current hunters and beginners are welcome. Participants will learn from experienced traditional archers about choosing equipment, aiming, practicing, tuning, and knowing the differences between modern and traditional archery.
The workshop also offers a chance to shoot traditional archery equipment.
Family participation is encouraged. There is no age requirement but participants must be able to safely and comfortably handle a bow. Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Those who have equipment are welcome to bring it, and instructors will help set it up. To register or for more information, call Wilbur Wright FWA at (765) 529-9581. Space is limited.

I hear you! but I can't go chase squaks this weekend (with the hot weather probably just as well) so I will be in the woods that weekend.

Dave if you do, please give them my number and ask them to call me, I tried to get ahold of them for some info about doing this at Roush or maybe Salamonie now that I've been working with the IDNR, but it seems they won't return a call....What is it with the IDNR and returning phone calls?
