Boots anyway, my feet froze last year. This year I want to get a good pair of boots. I'm looking to spend around 100-200 dollars. What's your preferences, waterproof, how much thinslate, etc.

whatever you get, buy a size bigger than you normally wear. NO COTTON SOCKS. two pairs of wool, and toe warmers and youre good to go

Silk or similar sock liners and wool socks.....boots with enough room to wiggle my toes.
Took me years and lots of trial and error to figure that one out. Boots themselves are the smallest piece of the puzzle.
The liners wick away the sweat.....the wool insulates when damp.

A thin pair of nylon next to skin as a wicking layer under the wool helps a lot, in my experience.

Cold weather - Polypropylene liners and good wool socks...in Lacrosse Alpha Burley Sports boots that are a size or two too big. Yes, you need to be able to wiggle your toes..
Single digits and below break out the boot blankets...

I used to struggle to keep my feet warm....even boot blankets didn't work until I figured out how to keep my feet dry.
For a few years I carried extra socks with me and changed after walking into my stand.
Once I started using liners and different weights of wool socks I am able to stay warm no matter the temps.
I use lacrosse boots.....200g for temps down into the teens and 800g for single digits.
If it gets really cold I'm usually in a blind with a small heater under my chair and a blanket over my lap to hold in the heat.
One thing is for certain..... being cold sucks.

I can now get through all but the very late December cold weather with a non insulated boot, sock liners and mid weight wool blend socks. Always remember the saying "cotton kills". Another trick I use when the mercury dips low is I take a small piece of sheet insulation such as Armaflex and put my boots on it to help insulate from the cold ground or metal stand.

You should wear a thin nylon or silk panty next to your butt as a wicking layer under your big girl woolen panties.

on the toe warmers. I like to make a toe sandwich, with a hot hands pad on top and bottom of my toes.

Cotton kills. That's where I went wrong. I had cotton then wool sucks that were way to small, no wiggle room. Then my Georgia lineman steel toed boots.
Here's another question gloves. I had a pair of neoprene. And they didn't last the season. So I'm getting a different pair what should I go with. And I don't want bulky.

A hand muff with glove liners or no gloves at all. I started putting a new thermacell inside mine last year when it was really cold..... one that had never had a skeeter pad on it.
Toasty.

Ditch the steel toes.... metal will suck the heat out of ya. Anything would be better than those.... even no boots at all and just socks.

Htown all the above except the panty thing, plus lots of water. You have to stay hydrated.

I have a pair of wool wader socks I wear in really cold weather. They are quite warm, but make me look incredibly sexy in my boxers. :-)
