No real exciting bucks, just dinks and this decent young 8 pointer. Did have a fox come by. The good news is, I walked around my property a bit for the first all summer (have been just doing quick quad runs) and saw a good deal of mast on the ground. Quite a few acorns and hickory nuts. And where the acorns were there was deer poop everywhere! One of the heaviest sign areas was right out in front of one of my stands. That got me excited! As did the weather today!

Most everything with headgear have vanished from our cameras..... finally got around to building a shooting house big enough for me and the kids. Finished it up last weekend.
Got the new stands out and looked over the old stands.
Won't step foot on the property again until season is here.
Finally put a selection of stands up on the eastern edge of the property I can hunt in early season without disturbing the better spots until closer to the rut.
Season is almost here.....

MHH Looks like he's rubbed all his velvet for a while... I had a couple that are hard horned as well.... Its amazing the different caricaturist and shades when they get the velvet off. Some getting pure white some looking stained.
