I am in the process of looking for a new bow. Currently I am shooting a PSE Stinger and I have absolutely zero complaints with it. But looking at newer models, I want an opinion of what people are shooting and some pros and cons for them. Hit me with your best shot ya'll!

Mission Venture for me. Made by Mathews but half the cost. I have absolutely zero complaints about it. Not sure where you are located but, I got mine at Bob Johnson's Archery Shop in Morocco, In.

when it comes to compounds...Ive always been a Martin fan. I wouldnt shoot a Mathews if you gave it to me. Price is all jacked up to pay for their advertising in every magazine known to man and them paying pros to shoot their bows on tv. I never was one to follow the croud.
lol, tried to hit edit and clicked on like.

on trad bows. And on Martin. That was my last compound and I loved it. My Dad is still hunting with an ancient heavy Martin bow and he is still killing deer with it.

Currently using a Hoyt for my hunting bow with an older Bowtech as my backup bow.
No complaints with either but the Hoyt is just a bit shorter (32") which makes it nice in a tree stand.
If I was in the market for a new one I would likely go with another Hoyt simply because I have a buddy who works for the company..... none of the new high end bows are cheap and none could realistically be called junk. Accessories are just as expensive.... don't think you could get a top shelf bow ready to go for less than $1k.

I shoot last years Hoyt Spyder 30. This bow is quiet, light, and very short while still be forgiving. I love this bow and I have 0 complaints about it. This bow is perfect for shooting out of blinds or treestands. Great bow. I would recommend it to anyone. Hoyt is probably the best company at making sure there bows are made well and very durable. Once you shoot a Hoyt, you wont want to shoot anything else. Just my opinion.

I shoot a strother wrath and really like it. It has an 8 inch brace height, which makes it a lil more forgiving than a lot of the shorter brace bows on the market today, but still has an IBO of 330. Of course I'm not shooting near that since I'm only shooting 50 lbs lol
