I sure would like to see them stocked in other lakes that have huge Gizzard Shad populations and not keep stockeing the same lakes.

Sure could use a bunch of them at Patoka. I was thinking the same thing but then I remembered the IDNR stocking Northern Pike in Patoka at the very beginning and they didn't stay or reproduce very well. I don't read much about them being in Patoka these days. I do think that they stock Walleyes in Patoka and I like that. I'd love to fish for walleyes at Patoka but I don't really get up there much anymore.
They did stock some muskies in the two lakes that I fish down here in Warrick County but I've never caught any Muskie in the last 6 years or so. I've seen one along near the ramp one day. It was definitely as small Muskie as I could see the vertical bars along the side of the fish. It was in very shallow water near the shoreline and the sun was bright that time of day.
I'm not sure why they are putting them into the water's at Bluegrass as the water quality is not that great. The water quality is typical of a old strip mined pit with coal ash in the bottom. There is a lot of minerals dissolved in these waters and the conductivity is very high.

Hopefully the Muskie are going to be successful.
