I think that we deer hunters need to organize as a union.
The United Deer Hunters of Indiana.
Of course like any other union seniority rules. That would work out as follows:
Year of deer hunting..
1 to 5 - Yearling does only
6 to 10 – Does only
11 to 15 - Does and one yearling buck
16 to 20 – Does and two yearling bucks OR Does and one 2 1/2 year old buck
21 to 25 – Does and two 2 ½ year old bucks
26 to 30 – Does and any one buck that they want
31 to 35 – Does and two bucks that they want
35 to 40 - However many does and bucks that they want..
40 and up - However many does and bucks that they want.. PLUS - If they see a buck that they want that belongs to another hunter at a the check station, taxidermist, or processors they can take it too. The hunter that gives up his deer has to still pay the taxidermy bill and/or the processing fee.
We can work out hunting hours and coffee break times later..
All in jest...maybe... biggrin2

Speaking of other hunters bucks ... I took my deer to the taxi yesterday and they had a 200" +/- buck in there. Gross of course.
Wow what a deer.
Said it was the second deer the guy had ever killed .... his first was a 160's with a bow last year.

I always get taken down a notch or 2 when I bring a buck in to the taxi and see what other people are bringing in
