What are your favorite Lures/ Baits to use for Bass Fishing during the Spring.
I like Jerkbaits, and Spinnerbaits in coves and in shallow water on main lake flats. In the later part of Spring I like to use big worms, Lizards, and Jigs out in the mouths of coves and on ledges.

Crawdad color 1/2 oz rattle trap or a Heddon Sonics. Think they would be to fast for early spring, but the big bass love them. Fast as you can get the sonics the better.

My favorite bait to use is the watermelon seed Fluke. I catch a lot of big bass using that. if that's not working then I usually throw the ring fry (only found it at Bass Pro Shop) and it is usually equally successful!

Black & blue Strike King buzz bait between mid night and first light of morning. Deep red RatLTrap retrieved as fast as I can crank my reel over shallow grass. Good old pig&jig is still hard to beat also.
