Well it was a little cold this morning and heard nothing and saw nothing at all. Thats the way my turkey hunting goes. I am cursed on turkey hunting. But was able to get a pic of this beauty.
That picture is one of the many reasons I look forward to sitting in the woods whether it is cold, raining, snowing or warm and sunny. Just being there is good for me.

That is exactly what I say! There are days when I don't even shoot when I can because I just hate to interrupt the amazing things that are going on. Although I have logged hundreds of days in the woods, some days it's as if I'm seeing it for the first time! Harvesting an animal is only a fraction of the reasons why I'm out there.
Thanks for the picture DUCKMASTER1!
I'd rather be at the bottom of a ladder I want to climb than half way up one I don't.
Genesis, you get it way before your years indicate. To be young and understand is a virtue. The woods are a way of life to embrace. Very few understand that. A life long commitment. I can count the shots I have passed, because they will always be in my mind.

I agree totally , that was so awesome to see, I had to snap a picture. And to think it let me get within 20 yds to snap that picture with my phone. It was nice and the swan looked so peaceful.
