Shouldn't have even taken that long. CBS explained it in about 2 minutes. Non-story, dead before it ever breathed...aborted.

Hey it was just a question. You are rationalizing one cheat being okay and believing him at his word but you won't believe another. Aren't ped's changing the way the game is played as delaying a ball is. You want Brady hanged and all the Pats championships stripped because them deflating balls. Won't ped's effect the outcome as well as a deflated ball? By the way, I never said I wanted any championships stripped.

The NFL is risking millions of dollars and it's reputation on "really bad data". Ok. Apparently they have.. and they look incredibly foolish to me. In fact it is so bad that I would volunteer myself to represent Tom Brady in a court of law, that's how horrible it is. It is also worth nothing that they company they used to write this report also wrote reports with "factual information" about: 1.)How second hand smoke does not increase cancer boston.cbslocal.com/2015/05/06/deflategate-nfl-hired-same-research-firm-that-denied-secondhand-smoke-causes-cancer/2.)How dumping oil waste in a community's drinking water supply does not increase cancer rates even when medical reports from a variety of doctors treating patients from the community demonstrates otherwise. From the same link listed above: “[In May 2009], the Amazon Defense Coalition alleged that an Exponent study finding that dumping oil waste in the Ecuadorean rain forest did not increase cancer rates was tainted because the firm’s largest shareholder was a member of the board of Chevron Corp., which commissioned the study.” Something tells me that this company will manipulate data to fit your agenda however you see fit as long as you have the money.

Why pay the fine for an injust speeding ticket when you can waste your time and energy trying to fight it in court against people who have a lot more time and resources than you?
Why do police courts simply payout settlements for alleged cases of police brutality instead of trying to fight them in court for years?

Cop hater ? Do you think I deserved what happened to me at the hands of that police officer? Wasn't aware that saying some police brutality cases against officers should have been fought in court to clear them made me a cop hater. The point I was trying to make is that sometimes it is just easier for your sanity to accept what has happened to you and move on rather than fight it and drag it out even longer, even if it unjust.

Do you believe the "Deflator" story? If not, I have nothing further to discuss because we come from different planets.
If so, how does that not convince anyone that they intentionally monkeyed with the footballs?
I really don't care about any questions that might need answering with regard to the science. The Deflator gave me my answer.

If so, how does that not convince anyone that they intentionally monkeyed with the footballs? I really don't care about any questions that might need answering with regard to the science. The Deflator gave me my answer. I have absolutely no doubt that it is possible McNally deflated the footballs. What we don't know from the texts is how much they were intended to be deflated or if they were ever meant to be under 12.5 PSI or if he was able to deflate 12 regulation footballs to around 11.5 PSI in the 1 minute and 40 seconds he was in the bathroom, or if he didn't and the refs just didn't bother to really check all that thoroughly because, meh...it's close enough, and Brady prefers them this way anyway, just sign off on them and let's get this show on the road. We know from past experience that that referees have taken upon themselves to help quarterbacks by adding extra air to a football soley because that is what they preferred. It may be as simple as the referees kept inflating the footballs past 12.5 PSI during inspection to make sure they stayed "legal" during the game and Brady got tired of grabbing the footballs and finding that they were overinflated during the game and told McNally to quit giving him footballs that were not what he asked for, so McNally took it to extremes. The most interesting text to me was the one about him threatening to overinflated the footballs to get back at Brady and then mentioning that he was going to go to ESPN....

They got caught and the $1 mil fine, four game suspension and loss of draft picks are no big deal to Robert Kraft, not worth fighting about. He can pay that fine easily as most here can pay a speeding ticket. Stings a little, but easier than fighting it.
They will still be a top AFC team and good chance of getting back to a super bowl.

Like everything else there is more to it than the news reports ... who knows why he decided not to fight it. Might have some sort of back room agreement with Goodell. Might have just figured the million was cheaper than fighting it without any guarantee he would win. The evidence against him was flimsy at best but there is no guarantee that he would win an appeal in a system that has proven to be rigged in the past.

I wonder why he didnt include whatever evidence he is talking about in the report? Because what he did include sure as hell isnt conclusive .....

You say flimsy. Most of those who are closest to the NFL say nearly overwhelming. Hmmm, with whom shall I side.

You talk like you personally know all these people .... how the heck do you know what "most" say?
And I dont care who you side with. I dont give your opinion an ounce of consideration when I form my own .... but hey, if you need the opinion of others in order to form your own then knock yourself out.
