For those that might be curious, here is the NRC. www.in.gov/nrc/2352.htmI've only had conversations and/or business dealings with Bryan Poynter and Tom Easterly. Just thought I would post this in case anybody has wondered who is on the board.

A bunch of idiots that don't know about deer hunting , we need people who understand what's going on in the deer woods and this HPR proposal , makes Indiana look like idiots to other states .
using symbols to get around the filter is not acceptable either

I don't, so this is simply me seeking more information as the link doesn't give a bio on any of them. What classifies them as idiots? I'm assuming as for your last line you feel other states view us as idiots because we do not allow the use of HPR? I highly doubt other states sit around and much care about what Indiana is doing, but I could be wrong. I mean we aren't the only state to not allow them....other states don't allow hunting on Sundays....others don't have a firearm season allowing choice of weapon but specific firearm type seasons like shotgun....rifle....lot of different approaches to this sport called hunting, not sure any one state has it entirely "right" to anyone.

There are some hunters in the NRC... Probably not a majority but you have to understand they do not just address hunting issues. Look at their meeting agenda to see that..

I dug deeper and you're right Woody...pretty sure we wouldn't want just hunters looking over the agendas...interesting.

Which ones on the board? What letter? Is it recent, perhaps I missed a memo released by them (maybe Woody can shed light). The allowing rifle rounds in pistols but not rifles is asinine and backwards...I've said all along make them all legal or none. Clarity is best. Oh, and the statement they shoot TOO far could in fact be a naive statement...however what context was it used and what text surrounded it?

We as a committee RC&d fish and wildlife of Crawford , Harrison , Spencer , dubious Co's wrote a letter to the DNR asking the DNR to consider a proposal to let hunters use rifles the same as pistol's , when they first time were legal , DNR came back with the letter to the committee and it said " Rifles Shoot too Far " again i say what kind of answer is that , u figure it out ...... this my last word on this subject .

So this was recent? Still odd not given context around it. I find that a little childish of a response to simply say that.

some children can read better than some people , so what context don't u understand it isn't that hard to figure it out for some people , and for the childish response i don't care what u think , it's my feeling and no one Else's on this hpr proposal , it's not fair for some hunters who don't want to use a pistol .243 or larger for deer harvest.

Its not fair that some hunters cant harvest a deer with the current regs.....is it really about unfairness?

Dude I was calling their response if all it stated was "they shoot too far" childish...not your response. Love how you come at me with "some children can read better than some..." Cut the crap dude, I'm trying to seriously understand what you're claiming they said and context around that small little excerpt you quoted is crucial...or could be. It could change everything, or nothing that is why I asked.

OK ,if it's not unfair then what do u call it . The regs are the same for everyone across the board, so it is fair. Some could argue with some, if not a lot of validity, that it doesn't make sense to allow rifle rounds out of pistols but not out of rifles (I am one of these despite being a bow hunter 99% of the time)...but it is fair across the board for all hunters choosing to hunt in Indiana.

i so discussed with this whole mess and the people running it , i don't care if they ever legalize center fire rifles in Indiana for deer hunting , but its ok to use a high powered pistol they don't shoot to far ,lmao .
