You think Trump isn't saying things the base of the Republican party wants to hear? With the exception of the McCain comments I'd say most he says are political calculations....
Not sure what he was thinking on McCain.

What I'm saying is that he's saying what others won't. This is the refreshing part. They're all rich crooks who want more power. I just want a strong America again! I want a middle class and stop buy the poor vote. Give them incentive to make a living, not incentive to live off the government.
We are very close to the point of no return and ANYone who has eyes to see can see it. The path that we're on is absolutely unsustainable.
I'm saying that Trump as an independent will mean at least 4 more years of this and we will NOT make it.

If not Trump, then who would make a good President??? OR is our Country doomed?? I've said for years that this country continually makes the same mistakes.... 1. We send the same people back to Washington and expect a different result. 2. We vote along party lines and tend to not even listen to what other candidates have to say. 3. We spend our time spit/spatting on forums and talk radio blaming the "other party" when in reality, there isn't much difference. Both parties pander to their bases, get very little accomplished, blame the other party for that lack of accomplishment, spend billions of dollars on elections, and get rich in the process. So while it's easy to blame "Obama" or "Bush" or whomever is sitting in the big chair...the members of the House and Senate run this country and they are flat out running it into the ground..... How True!! Members of the House and Senate are [SUPPOSE] to make the laws, and the President can either sign laws or veto them. At this day and age though this isn't happening. What we got is a President (Obama) that says: "He has a phone & a Pen to enact laws" bypassing Congress, Senate, or the wishes of the citizens & voters. THIS IS WRONG!!!

Not sure what he was thinking on McCain. All Trump was saying concerning John McCain was that he (McCain) was a "POW" not a true Hero. What he is saying about the Republican or Democrat parties must hold some truth or they wouldn't be so afraid of Trump.

He has stated in the past he is OK with an "assault weapons" ban, and has given to the Clinton Foundation. He is Ross Perot 2.0 - no thanks. I have to wonder if his real goal is to run as an independent & split the GOP vote. As I recall, many Republicans also supported that "Assault Weapons ban" too. I also heard on the news (Newsmax) that he doesn't intend to run as an independent or start a third party. But we'll see.

ZZZZzzzZZZZzzzz. Anything any politician says once they are on the campaign trail is highly suspicious. I tend to give more credence to what they have said when they weren't a candidate. Not a fan, never will be.

With the use of a pen & phone.

That's not how EO works.

My personal gauge is "am I better off now than when he took office".... The answer is yes. It was yes with Bush too except at the very end. Those last months killed my 401k but I'm 25 years away from retirement so it really didn't matter. I don't like most of Obama's policies but at least my 401k has rebounded fully under his watch ..... I personally watch and keep tabs on market activities. Today (Monday 7/27/2015) ALL foreign markets including ours are tanking if not melting down. So your 401K will be worth less today, along with everyone else's. IF anyone has a home loan or car payment, plus having kids in school/college, will really be hurting. Having an emergency savings or money market account, despite they are paying close to nothing in interest earned, is prudent to have on hand. In these time you need cash-on-hand, just in case things get rough. Best thing is to have "Zero" debts & aggressively start saving, setting money aside. ~Simple Math~

I bet some people are saying these same things about Bernie. I sure don't know what the answer is, and I guess one has to look at things from an individual basis, and this is the genus of it all. Get the masses hooked on government aid. They won't want to give up their free cell phones and cable. They won't want to start working for a living. Open the boarders and support them too. This will yield all the votes they need, and not only that, people will give up their rights just to keep the free stuff and not have to work. It's genus, but unsustainable.

It's all rigged. "Evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse..." Live your life as safe and comfortably as you can, help someone now and again, and pray you will be shown mercy when it is needed. Other than that, the sun rises and falls the same each day while mankind gets worse and devises schemes to use and abuse each other in more diabolical ways. Choosing the "lessor of two evils" is still choosing evil. /end of rant
