Besides replacing the upper is there anything else that needs to be done here?
Also I saw the new law in Indiana says that a pistol is a pistol even if it was originally a rifle. Does this mean you could convert your AR-15 rifle to a pistol?

Actually all that needs changed is the barrel. As for making your rifle a pistol the Fed's are going to have something to say about that; Form 1 (think that is the right one) and $200 please.

I have a Ambush Firearms AR15 in the 5.56 mm and I'm pretty sure that they make an upper that changes the gun to either the 300 black out or the 6.8 SPCII caliber. I've thought a lot about just buying an extra upper to covert my AR into the 6.8 SPCII or the 300 Black Out Round. If we have hogs running wild here and I had a place to hunt them I'd do that in a heart beat. www.ambushfirearms.com |
