I don't have allot of space, got allot of stuff, and fishing poles always seem to be in the way and getting broken being moved from here to there. Hang them on the wall and there goes some shelf space for something else. Well here is my solution. Nice , neat ,organized,easy to get too and the most important part ,out of harms way.

I used cupholder hooks on the ceiling of my shed. The rods that hung there the longest (6+ months) took a set from the gravity pulling them down. Maybe if I would have used more hooks they wouldn't have, but I used 3 hooks for 7' and over rods. Reels weren't on the rods.
Just a FWIW.

I have one similar to that mounted on the inside of my truck topper.It holds three rods on each side for me and my wife.It keeps them from getting thrown around when we are traveling.I drilled holes in mine to slide the rods through.
