I dont know many hunt around the Rosedale,In area but yesterday I was at J.T'S Marathon gas station and I seen he was no longer a Deer/Turkey check station. I didnt ask why or anything but just giving you guys a heads-up so dont waste time or gas to check something in. Hope this might some of ya's

I'm sure it has a lot to do with the checkIN System and how retailers aren't really willing to spend their money paying employees to do the states work without compensation. There used to be a bunch of them around when I was a kid but they just keep falling off more and more. I am glad for the check-in system since the check stations have been disappearing

My local archery shop even quit selling licenses.

They are disappearing, but I don't think they ever received any compensation from the state that I heard of. They did sell a lot of things to those hungry and thirsty hunters though.

I know they never received anything but business from them but the hassle didn't outweigh the reward at least not around here where there are so few stations anyway people are going to stop there anyway if they are going to stop at all
