Is it true that Asian Carp are making their way to Lake Monroe? On another site people were talking about how the Asian Carp have been found just below the Lake Monroe Dam. And they could possibly get into Lake Monroe by people netting minnows for bait, birds, etc.

Yes, they have been in east fork white river for 6+ years which means they have been in Salt creek same time period.
State has posted warning posters about asain carp down there showing dif between gizzard shad and baby asain carp. Not sure many read or pay attention. There are a lot of people that net shad down there. It's a real potential.
Not long ago Monroe overflowed through the emergency spill way. I would say that potentially exposed the lake already.

Yes! At this time I think the safest thing to do is to only net bait from the actual lake, and not below the dam unless you plan to fish below the dam.
