Added a little beagle female to the family, five months old Nobody would sit still long enough to get a good picture lol Yeah and so it began ends up with 11 beagles in the kennel. It quickly gets out of hand. Congrats bud. What's her name? Fred's girlfriend? How's ol Fred doing? Running well? Does he have some speed in him? That pup I kept out of that litter is several steps above what else I have in my kennel. Running a couple days ago and he was according to the GPS 73 yards ahead of the pack. Runs with a head down chop. Blows out of the check. He's got some serious ground time on him. I see Fred don't have any weight on him either. I can't keep weight on mine. He's getting over a cup of food and a cup of deer meat a day and still just maintaining. Keep me posted.

Fred don't stop moving outside. Hes been after a couple deer lately.....little turd is too fast, outruns the collar it seems lol. Couple box traps out for rabbits now to get his head back in the game. Think the kids decided on Bella for her name. I have to find some good rabbit properties. Tons of them around the house but we have a very busy county road a free yards west.

Seeing what I have in the pup I kept I wish I would have kept the whole litter to start. Oh well that's the way it goes. I know the others are all at non hunting homes. I'm pretty sure they have their hands full. I couldn't imagine having mine in the house. He's a little tornado. Pretty sure he's set up a mini meth lab in the kennel and is an outright junkie. Funny little animals. Anyway keep me posted on how they do. I'm off to wear some energy off this little guy and hope to have some fried rabbit in time for the games today.

Chain-O-Lakes was a great place to break a dog off deer until the park hunts. You could drive around on a day like today and put the offender on several groups of deer. A mild correction and mine would be back at my feet. 2 or 3 trips there and they would jump over a deer track.

She's a looker. Told the wife that her and the knucklehead were coming over to run in the pen. She asked where I was going to keep them. Told her I'd make space in the kennel. I was informed that they are to sleep in the garage by the furnace since they aren't used to the cold. Yeah they are going to have a rough several days here. I can't guarantee your female won't come back to you with a manicure. That is completely out of my hands.
