Who hunt's late antlerless season??? ( Personally I never have. ) My thought's have always been that I can get deer harvested long before then that I need. Normally I open mineral lick's back up first week of December as well as a couple supp. feed station's , thus shutting down hunting on farm for season. Although deer herd in my area appears to be in pretty good shape I really have a hard time harvesting doe's this late in year that are more than likely already carrying next year's crop.

I try to get out if I can but the cold really gets to me, semi fair weather I will need to buy a tag so save 24bucks? I tend to get an itch to hunt in December and nothing like letting the smoke pole eat if I get a shot. I am learning to hunt food and try to stay warm.

Only if I have not got what I want in the freezer.

Same here. If I don't have what I want or need by that point, I take advantage of it. At this point, I will be out there! Lol.

I always hunt it. Normally there is snow on the ground here and I really enjoy hunting in the snow. The land is quiet and beautiful. Of course all I have to do is walk out my back door and go about a quarter mile east to my stand or blinds.

Usually do; with missing as much of gun season as I did I will likely be out there again.

No late season here. I have hunted it in the past but really I hate cold weather. I might try bow season with the crossbow but it depends greatly on my employment situation. I would like to be back to working fulltime by then.

I love it, especially when I still have a buck tag. This year only one of my properties...perhaps the new one too...have the doe numbers to justify a doe harvest in late season. That is if numbers weren't cut a ton from gun season...we'll see here in a little bit.

Not bashing anyone who does or really didn't mean muzzy season. Referrig to the special late antlerless only. I just don't see the need for it with our already lengthy season's.

I've never hunted it and wish my county would drop the bonus antlerless quota to 3 so as to exclude us from the special late season hunt.

I normally have what we'll eat in the freezer by then. The way this year is going I might just be out till the end.

I also go out if the weather isn't too bad. Got to wean off deer hunting slowly! I about cried when I thought I was shooting a doe and it turned to be a small buck that had dropped his antlers. I watch him and his twin chase and spar all fall long.

I work two jobs and have a couple other extra curricular activities going on plus 2young children and a wife. I hunt when I have a chance and am thankful to have such a long timeframe to do it in

Depends on the weather and if I can snag another doe in muzzleloader season. If I put another one in the freezer, forget it. Time to sleep and work around the house.

I usually get out a few times. I figure the chances are just as high of shooting a mother to be in October or November as they are in January.

So far I don't have a deer on the ground. A lot can change from now and then but if I still need some meat I will probably head out for the late antlerless. You just have to be super careful when hunting it because some bucks have already dropped the horns and you don't want to take out a good up and comer thinking it was a big doe.
