Amazes me how many will carry a glock in their pocket with one chambered. Same thing as a cocked revolver IMO.

IMO you would have to have something else in your pocket to depress the safety in the middle of the trigger and then press the trigger.

Just your wadded up pocket could do it, or your tucked shirt underwear or jeans if stuffing it in your waste band. If one is gonna carry a handgun, a proper holster should be a requirement IMO.

If you think you may need a gun to go that quick .... You may want to rethink where hanging out at... IMO

I pocket carry daily, but with a pocket holster and my S&W Shield has a safety. Pocket carry has been the easiest for me over IWB and ankle options (I've tried countless different holsters with different weapons).

Honestly, I'm wondering if this is the true story or just what he thought sounded "better" than the truth.

Clearly, Darwin was NOT paying close attention.
For what it's worth, I just cannot carry a chambered pistol that does not have a thumb safety. I know there are numerous arguments for and against, but I won't do it. I had a Glock that shot great, but I sold it due to not having a thumb safety. I now carry either a S&W Shield or 642 Airweight. If I am in the woods scouting or otherwise not hunting, I always carry my .45 Kimber in a Blackhawk Serpa. Great combination when concealment is not a concern.

You can add a thumb safety to a glock. Just puting that out if anyone desires it.
