How do you dispose of deer carcass? What is legal and what is not legal?

Bag it up and throw it in your garbage can or a dumpster. Or you can save it for coyote or crow bait.

Man the chipper would be messy! I had even burnt them in my outdoor wood boiler in the past! Hey free heat. Lol. Now that its gone, I am doing the trash bag gig.

How do you dispose of deer carcass? What is legal and what is not legal? When finished with processing my Deer; I cut the remaining bones, into four pieces, throw them out in my back field for the Crows & other critters to enjoy.

Like most trash, don't dump it on a county road, in a ditch, or off a bridge.
If you have permission to dump on someones land that is good, dig a hole, put in trash, but make sure it is well bagged. I had a pickup refused due to goose carcasses they could see.
Wood chipper seems excessive but it would make good garden fertalizer :-)

I cut 'em up and place in trash bags and set 'em out for the weekly pick up. I do try not to overload the bags. I don't want the trash man to have a bag of bloody bone & hide spill out on him.
Usually, I put newspaper around the bones to help pad and absorb. (Glad that the Indy paper still is good for something).

Dogs get it. With 17 dogs they don't last long.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT, put them in a trash bag with old doll hair or part of an old wig visible out the top of the bag. The police have zero sense of humor about that kind of stuff these days.

I either drag mine out in a field behind the house or take it back to the woods to let the Coyotes have it haven't tried the trash bag gig yet may not be a bad idea

I sell the hide to fur byer for 5 bucks. I use a saw saw and cut the neck bones, back bones, hip and the leg joint bones in pieces small enough to fit in a big pot then boil them and pick meat off for noodles or BBQ sandwhices. What is left I put in my compost pile to break down for furtaliser for flower beds. I pull the tongue out of the skull to eat so when I get dune not much left
