I went to check my cam today and had quite a few good pics. my concern is some of the deer looked thin. is this typical for this time of year? It has me thinking are these deer malnurished due to lack of food source possibly or are they diseased?

I believe it's normal, they always look rough when they are going into their summer coats.

Normal. They've shed heavy winter coat, still growing summer coat

Normal. They've shed heavy winter coat, still growing summer coat That's what I'm hoping cuz I have a good spot set up. There was even deer hair on the ground. I accidentally deleted my pictures off my phone and not the card. I'm going back out tomorrow morning to get my pictures again then I'll post some.

Your okay Wesb, my urban deer here in Indy look boney skinny in the spring but always come around in the summer. Totally normal.

Agree with above comment's. Most are molting or shedding winter coat's which gives them a sickly appearance and buck's tests level's are down so necks a very skinny this time of year as well.
