I hate crowds and blowing $ on silly things so even if they won I would have regrets. But if you were a hard core cubs or baseball fan it would be the place to be!
I have not watched a world series game since early 90s when the Reds won! I like baseball just not that much. I have to say Cubs and Indians world series got me interested enough to watch a few innings last night. It was a good show. Those pitchers were increadible. Lots of strikeouts. And IU alumn Swarber had a shot off the outfield fence...that dude is the real deal too.

I heard some of the tickets were over $12,000, which is insane. Cubs are looking good this evening and Duff I agree with you that Schwarber is the real deal. He has 3-0 in the world series and still has the green light on his first at bat tonight and he hammers it.

They do that at the Evansville otters games, halfpot drawings. Went to a game this year and i think halfpot was around $300.

Never seen it at a baseball game I have seen the 50/50 at Eldora speedway back when Earl Baltes owned it reach pretty close to that on a big night of racing and the best thing was it was a cash pay out right there that night.

The 50/50 drawings each week at the Washington Indiana KoC Treasure Hunt drawing are paying roughly $1000 each and they are averaging about 25 drawings. That means the KoC is raking in about $25k each week just from the 50/50.

I heard the rumor that the 50/50 for the Knoxville Nationals was 27,000 for the weekend. Winner was said to have donated it all to the Brian Clauson fund. Do not know this for a fact.
