I have been thinking about a carport to put next to my garage. Any good or bad vendors out there? I tried looking on line but too many to sort through!
Sent a quote request to DC Metal for a post bldg but may be more $ than I think I want to spend.
Thanks

Thanks I haven't looked recently, but Menard's used to have the materials kit for a 24x30 post frame, sheet metal building for right at $4700. Just add gravel or concrete floor. Single carports go about $750, then up if you add full side walls and doors or go bigger.

Ithe gives me an easy path on next 10 projects! But I am looking into that option as well. Nothing fancy needed. A place to put my boat and tractor.

All same company and price just different sales people. Don't know, could be wrong.

I usually end up paying premium on something I don't need...this time I am just paying full price!

Got a quote from a local group on an 18x21x8 in the $5k neighborhood...think a metal carport will be half that. Going to get a few other quotes.
Need to see what it would cost in supplies to see what it will cost with free labor...
