Not my pond, but a clients pond in Texas. I was there on Monday. Looks are deceiving. The scale was zero'd with the ruler on the scale, the hand is there because it wanted to flop off the scale and we didn't want it bouncing around on the pier before it went back into the pond. There are some 2# 'gills in there, maybe I will catch one when I'm back there in October. I have a couple more pictures on my phone, will throw them on here tonight. None were under a pound. Good management plan and a good quality food. These fish are 3 years old.

Those are some little chubby folks Yes they are. I say are because they all were released back into the pond. One of them I couldn't get my hand around to hold it.

Hit several strip pits on Thursday & Friday last week. Two of us kept 51 big bluegill and redear in 1.5 days fishing. many of the redear were over 10" and bluegills 8-9". All public water, not farm pond stuff .... that's cheating I can catch those 10-11" hybrids from my farm pond every day.

Went out again this afternoon. Fished from 12:45 till 4:30 ish. Checked an aera for crappy with a little artificial jig and minney. (Cought them meny times on it befor) got a good hit and one on for a couple head shakes. Figure maby this weekend they will be in feeding and i can get some. Moved on and changed to twist bobber size 10 gold hook(no sinkers) and red wigglers (BIG RED WORMS). found them in shallow again but not congregate in one spot. Would get 2 to 4 here move a little and same thing. Ended up with 32 gills had 10, 8 in or better and 2 redear that were 9 & 9 1/2 in. Nune under 7 and most 7 1/2 or better. If i can get photo bucket to download i will post pictures
