On state property can you quarter out a deer and just pack out the meat if you check it in using your phone? Do you have to leave proof of sex attached to a hind-quarter? Is the confirmation number on the phone enough for the CO or do you also have to complete a temporary tag?
Thanks.

Once the deer is checked in, it may be quartered in the field. The Indiana Administrative Code requires the use of a temporary transportation tag which you are required to record the confirmation number on. That portion of the code has not changed. According to the Indiana Administrative Code, just having the confirmation number on your phone does not meet the requirements of the regulation.
