Well, I will be going out to try and get one more deer for a friend. He's got an older friend that can't hunt any more, but said he really misses venison on the table. So my buddy asked if I could possibly get another one before Christmas for his friend. If I can get one, I'll get it cut up/wrapped and he can pick it up.
I'm trying the .45 cal 300g Pittman AeroMax bullets in the .45 cal PacNor Savage. Full bore bullet, no sabot. Swaged to .4505"
2" high at 100 yds 2 3/8" low at 200 yds 14" low at 300 yds
No idea on muzzle velocity, I'm using a duplex powder load.

Once I get more bullets I will fine tune the load. I really want to get some of the 275g bullets to see how flat they fly.

You should be at or near 2700fps. That one kills on both ends. I use that same load and have taken many deer. You wont have any problems if hit in the area of nose to tail...lol.
