Here is the best understanding of our Constitution and the process that I have found. The people of Israel know more of our Constitution than us. youtu.be/_EKTWr6oZX0Trump will be re-elected on the 6th. On the 6th of what? You need to read the constitution and how the process works to elect a president.

You need to read the constitution and how the process works to elect a president. I know that on January 6th the electoral votes will be counted in a joint session of Congress. With some of the things you post, I figured the 6th may very well have had a whole different meaning...

The following is how the Constitution process is to elect a President: Each State legislator's voted for the Electoral vote and not the Governor of the State. There are 6 states that have Rebupican legislators, but Democratic Governors. So the count as of the 14th is 231 Trump and 213 or so for Biden. We don't have the exact count yet because of Michigan. Neither will get 270 votes. On January 6th VP Pence will count the votes within the Senate. Senate does not count the votes. The VP counts the votes. Since there is no winner of 270 votes the vote then goes to the House legislators to vote for the President. Each State gets one vote. There are 30 Republican House legislator States and Democrats 20. Even if there are a few rhinos on either side President Trump will be re-elected.

Do your homework!

Thank God for this:(Emphasis mine) Five times a candidate has won the popular vote and lost the election. Andrew Jackson in 1824 (to John Quincy Adams); Samuel Tilden in 1876 (to Rutherford B. Hayes); Grover Cleveland in 1888 (to Benjamin Harrison); Al Gore in 2000 (to George W. Bush); Hillary Clinton in 2016 (to Donald J. Trump).

I think 1804 and 1824. I need to look them up. You are right, this process is not new. A lot of people also don't know that parties would put more than one candid for President in the past.
