I saw a mature pair last week, in, of all places, a housing subdivision just south of Geist reservoir. Migratory birds no doubt.

Was on the lake(Patoka) one day last week and saw 5. Sunday we saw an immature one near Salem and then just barely out of French Lick watched a mature one being harrased by a crow. This is the best time of year to see them. If you have never seen one get on one of the eagle watches at Patoka or Monroe. We are fortunate in knowing where some nests are and we get to watch them from February when they start nesting till the young ones fledge and can be seen hopping around the limbs around the nests.

Last Aug we took the grandkids canoeing on the White above Nobelsville. What a magnificent sight to see the Great Bald Eagle flying right at us about 20' above the water! The kids were flagergasted!(So was I)
It's good to hear there's so many sightings around the state. We're planning another trip next summer and the Eagle sighting is all they talk about!

Saw a pair of them just a couple miles west of campus on the way home from work this afternoon...just doing their "going 'round in circles" stuff.
