ok but how do you figure it is more centrally located? It's on the very eastern edge of the state! You can darn near throw a rock from there to Ohio

It's a lot more central than Atterbury. There is no place that wil be exactly central, plus there is a lot to do there. We could have bow and gun contests and fishing derby for prizes, etc.

Isn't there a county park around Muncie called Prairie Creek that has camping and fishing? As for being centrally located Brookville is more centered North and South but Atterbury is more centered East and West.
June 24, will put it in the family calander and see what happens.

Muncie would be a haul for the Warrick county boys.

Just thought it might be a little less expensive than state park camping might be.

Brookeville is a resevoir, not a park. And true about the atterbury/brookeville post, but the state is a lot more narrow than long. Camping would cost $42 for 2 days with 2 people. Not bad.

I can make it since 24 June is St. Jean Baptiste Day in Quebec Canada and has nothing to do with me. That's what it says on my calender anyway. Brookeville, Atterbury and Prairie Creek all work for me.

Would love to attend such a get-together, but my nephew's wedding is on the 24th, and family will be in from as far as AZ to attend, so that date is out for me. Although if it was as close to home as Atterbury, I might be able to slip away for some campfire time for a few hours, depending on reception schedule and such.

I can't really answer right now , my wife has recently lost her source of income so I have to watch the pennies until further notice . However , I would venture to guess that Atterbury is the better locale for the majority of us considering it's more central location .

I will have to see how everything is going closer to the date. I would like to make it but moving and settling in someplace new might already have me busy.

Think they would allow us to bring our 3-D targets and shoot on the circle?

Atterbury is about the same as Brookville north-south and a much more centrally located east-west.

Think they would allow us to bring our 3-D targets and shoot on the circle? It is already a target-rich environment after dark. ;D

We better check the Schedule there might be some Illegal Immigrants protesting that day. No protests scheduled, it's a Saturday. And I'll be more than happy to drive and take you with me as long as I can strap you over the front fender like a deer. I'm surprised you didn't also ask for a free dozen decoys.
