Looks like a cumbersome way to carry 20 rounds of ammo.

I got my vest from Midway USA on sale for $50 a couple years back. It's their Full Strut model. Their price now is $70. It has all of the features I need and more. I've learned to fight the temptation of filling all of the compartments just because they are there. I did add a foam pad to the seat cushion as it was a little thin. I recommend this vest. Maybe they'll have another sale before or after the season.

I picked up a box of 25, 12 Ga. 3" 1 5/8 oz. #5 upland magnum shells made by Browning. Cost was a little over $1 a shell.
These have only 1/4 oz less shot than the Remington Nitro turkey loads I normally shoot. They are 1350 fps, around 150 fps faster than the Nitros. Going to pattern them to see what they'll do. Another possible and cheaper option to think about when "turkey" loads get scarce.

A farmer told me he recently spent $6,500 on a registered Black Angus bull. He put him out with the herd but the bull just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow. The farmer said he was beginning to think he paid more for that bull than it was worth. He said he had the vet come and take a look at him. The vet said the bull was healthy, but possibly just a little young, so he gave the farmer some pills to feed the bull once per day. The bull bred the cows within two days. All of them! He even broke through the fence and bred with all of the neighbor's cows! The farmer told me, "It's unbelievable, he's like a machine! I don't know what was in the pills... but they kind of taste like peppermint."

I'd like to see the Bengals beat KC. Don't really care after that. Eagles/Niners should be a good game.

A man is in traffic court. The Judge says, "It says here you rear-ended a car driven by a dwarf, is that correct?" The man replies, "Yes, your honor, it was my fault." "Tell me what happened next" said the judge. The man replies, "Well the driver got out, looked at the damage, then looked at me and said he was NOT happy". "I see, what happened next" said the judge. I said to the driver, "OK, which one are you then?" That's when the fight broke out.

A guy is driving around the back woods and he sees a sign in front of a broken down, shanty-style house: Talking Dog For Sale. He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there.
"You talk?" he asks.
"Yep," the Lab replies.
After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says "So, what's your story?" The Lab looks up and says,
"Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA. In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. "I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running. But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals.
"I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.
"Ten dollars," the guy says.
"Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! I mean, all of those important accomplishments! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap??"
"Because that dog's a dang liar. He never did any of that stuff."

Two blondes are on opposite sides of the river. The first shouts, “How do I get to the other side of the river?” The other yells back, “You ARE on the other side of the river.”

Three statisticians are out hunting. The first one shoots at a deer and misses 5 feet to the left. The second one takes a shot and misses 5 feet to the right. The third one yells, “We got ‘em boys!”

Yeah, I bought it just to mess around with it. Figured at the price I couldn't really go wrong. Safe to say it's not a home defense gun.

Picked one up online from RK Guns for $159 plus tax. The gun is parkerized finish and black plastic stocks, 20" barrel. Watched some videos where guys were saying they need to be cleaned well, and then need a bit of a break-in period before they run well. The MFR says to use loads with 1350 fps velocity.
I tore it down completely, cleaned it and reassembled. Found it was tough to load shells into the mag tube. 2.75" would go in with a shove, 3" would not go in. I called their gunsmith and he said he sees that a lot. He instructed me to file the carrier down until the shells had enough clearance. I did that and shells load easily now. Took it out over the weekend and ran some old rifled slug ammo through it for the break-in. One time it failed to feed the next round. After that I ran about a dozen Remington loads rated at 1290 fps. Had one that failed to feed. Then swithed to Estate shells also rated at 1290 fps, shot 10 with no failures. Then back to Remington and finished the box, no failures. Seems like it's running fine. Got it home and tore it down, lightly lubed and reassembled. No complaints from me for $159. I can spend that much without trying at Costco.
Apparently, there are a few similar Citadel guns out there going by the names of Warthog, Bosshog, etc. Anyone have any experieince with these guns, good or bad?
Today I bought an Undertaker turkey choke for it. It might make a nice short turkey gun.

Funny thing is, most tenderloin sandwiches you get are actually boneless sliced shoulder (Boston butt) that's been run through a tenderizer or pounded thin.

I got fired from my job at the bank.
A woman came in and asked me to check her balance.
So I gave her a good shove.
