Great win for the IU women's team!
It was fun to watch 17,000 fans go nuts and bring life back into Assembly Hall.
The men's team is catching h*ll this year and I get the frustration but getting booed off the floor has got to be difficult for them to hear.

Boosting one’s ego is a huge driving force for some. If a poacher just kept his mouth shut they could probably get by with killing big bucks. But noooooo, they want to be recognized as a great hunter. I agree that many can't keep their mouths shut and it can quickly lead to their undoing. Having said that, even if a person kept their mouths shut, there are people who are going to see that buck (like the their family, friends, neighbors, the taxidermist, other customers of that taxidermist, etc.) and it's going to get out eventually.

It's been a tough season to be a fan of the IU men's team. That's for sure.
I have enjoyed watching the ladies team.

I'm not going to help derail another thread over something you failed to add sources to.
If you'd like to continue the above, send it via PM as I requested.
If not, I'm finished with the thread.

Whatever makes you feel better about it... And before this takes over the thread, if you have any more jewels (like the one above), send it to me via PM so as not to do so.

I agree with your points about drones and cameras during the season. But the reality is that banning both (or either) would be hard to enforce. B&C position is for animals harvested the same day or timeframe of picture from my understanding! Trail cameras have zero negative affect on the health of herd and cameras actually save more deer then they take! BTW …. HRB has no negative position on cameras! Care to source this?

IDK. Have always looked at tracking and recovery as part of the hunting experience. Both are becoming a lost art. Wi Even the use of dogs, for me at least, would be a last resort. I agree. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if drones were made illegal and if they outlawed use of trail cams during season. I agree with your points about drones and cameras during the season. But the reality is that banning both (or either) would be hard to enforce.

If this had come in under the price of a Ruger American by a bit....say at $450......MAYBE give it a chance. We have the new Ruger American Gen IIs in now for $579.99.......These folks have lost their mind. I have to agree. I see Taurus having a hard time gaining any real market share @ that price point. If they drop the price to $500-$700, that's puts it in a very overcrowded part of the market where it might have a tough time getting noticed. Either way, it looks like a tough row to hoe for the Taurus Expedition.

It appears this rifle is based very heavily on the Remington 700.
Will it be worth a flip? I don't know, but for the price it ought to be.

You can buy thread protectors cheap on the internet. I know, but I'm just a bit surprised that Ruger didn't include one.

Louisville fans are getting restless as well. I don't think it will happen, but would not be shocked if both UL and IU have openings after this season. I guess contract buyouts will play somewhat of a factor. I have already read where UL will save a good amount if they keep Payne through the season. Woodson isn't halfway through with a 6 year/18 million dollar deal. I would imagine that even the boosters would have a hard time swallowing that. I wouldn't be surprised to see U of L cut Kenny Payne loose, if they can find someone to fund it. One big problem that Kenny Payne has is low attendance on top of the losses. Woodson, has the good fortune that IU fans are still putting their butts in the seats regardless of the losses.

We got our first one tonight....chambered in 204 Ruger. It is a LOT of improvement for less money than the previous Go Wild. Much better stock, fluted barrel, threaded and a brake, adjustable comb and LOP, bolt is smoother, trigger is better and at $579. As for the magazine, they had to address the feeding issues from the rotary mags in the first generation. Using AI mags that are proven and available everywhere at very good prices makes a ton of sense. Do the rifles come with a thread protector if a person wants to take the brake off of the rifle?

Ultimately, it's Woody's mess to fix. Can he do that?
I don't have a lot of hope that he can...
